Los Angeles: On Saturday morning a 40-year-old man ran his vehicle into a parked vehicle and then proceeded to run into another vehicle killing his passenger and injuring two others.

The collision occurred on June 26, 2005 at 2:15 a.m. Larry Tyars was driving east on Manchester Avenue with passenger Sharon Walton, in a 1987 Blue Cadillac Seville. The Cadillac collided with a Ford F350 truck parked eastbound on Manchester Avenue. The impact between the Cadillac and the truck caused the Cadillac to spin around and collide with a second vehicle a 1988 Chevrolet Nova stopped eastbound Manchester Avenue.

Sharon Walton a 40 year-old African American woman was transported to a local hospital where she later died. The driver of the Cheverolet Nova a 38 year-old woman and her female passenger were also transported to a local hospitals in stable condition.

Larry Tyars was arrested for Felony Vehicular Manslaughter.
