Sobriety Checkpoint for 4th of July

What:
Sobriety Checkpoint for 4th of July

When:
Sunday, July 3, 2005, Between 6:00 PM to 1:00 AM

Where:
Crenshaw Boulevard and Coliseum Boulevard        

On Sunday, July 3, 2005, LAPD’s South Traffic Division and California Highway Patrol officers will be conducting a joint sobriety checkpoint in the southern area of Los Angeles.  The checkpoint will be set up to screen drivers northbound on Crenshaw Boulevard from 39th Street.

The operation will be conducted in an effort to reduce injuries, death, and property damage associated with the intoxicated drivers.
