Why:
In an effort to reduce injuries, death and property damage caused by illegal fireworks, the LAPD and LAFD have joined together to implement the fire works reduction program for the San Fernando Valley.
The goal of this program is to educate the public on the dangers of illegal fireworks and to announce the enforcement efforts that are in effect.
