LAPD Central Traffic Division (CTD) will host the “Cops for Tots” Car Show and Traffic Safety Fair at the Los Angeles Police Academy in Elysian Park.  Approximately 20 years ago, Cops for Tots adopted the Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Unit of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.  We have since adopted other children’s charities.  All proceeds from the show benefit not only a child in need of a transplant, but the child’s family as well.  “Cops for Tots” is a tax-exempt, charitable organization and the show is a fundraising event that brings public service employees and the community together in support of a worthy and noble cause.

This year’s show will feature vintage and specialty vehicles, live entertainment, gourmet food vendors and static displays from various LAPD specialized units.  This event is open to the public and admission is free.  The funds raised at this year’s event will enable us to continue our financial support of the children’s charities throughout Los Angeles.

This year we have added a Traffic Safety Fair to our show.  Children can participate in a bicycle rodeo or a pedestrian rodeo.  Adults can visit our Child Passenger Information Booth – ALL FREE TO THE PUBLIC.
