On February 28, 2009 the LAPD Centurion Submission Grappling Team (Patrick Higa, Scott DeWitt, Dragos Burecui, Mario Jacinto, Kevin Shaw, Allen Sellers, Englebert Castaneda, Albert Franco, Phillip Miller and Mark Mireles/Team Coach) faced off against the Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) in their home territory of Irvine. Everyone gave 100% but in the end Team OCFA won with a Team Score of 13 to 9. Special recognition goes to Mario Jacinto, Allen Sellers, Albert Franco and Phillip Miller who won their matches. This event raised $7,000.00 for the “Fallen Fire Fighter Fund”.
