Elementary Teacher Arrested For Sexual Assaulting Child

Thursday, March 11, 1999


On Tuesday, March 9, 1999, Harbor Sexual Assault Detectives arrested 46-year-old Victor Robles. Long Beach Deputy District Attorney Charles Clay, filed 6 felony counts of "Crime Against Child" against Robles and a felony warrant was issued for his arrest.

Robles is presently an elementary school teacher at Dolores Elementary School in Carson. Robles met the victim when he was her kindergarten teacher, three years ago. Robles befriended the victim and her family, and the alleged crimes occurred while the victim was in the first and second grade, and at the victim's residence in Wilmington.

Robles was booked at Harbor jail with a $350,000 bail. Robles is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday, March 10, 1999 in Division 85, San Pedro Court.
