Wilshire Detectives Investigate Home Invasion Robbery Incident

PRESS RELEASE
Thursday, March 4, 1999

On Tuesday, March 2, 1999, at approximately 9:55 PM, four male Hispanics entered the residence located at the 700 block of South Andrews Place. Once inside the location the suspects displayed handguns and forced several victims to lie on the floor.

The suspects then ransacked the residence and taking the victims' property. During the robbery one of the victims was assaulted and sustained minor injuries. No medical treatment was required at the time.

All suspects fled the location with an unknown amount of currency and jewelry. It is not known if the suspects used a get away car.

Below are the descriptions of the four suspects:

Suspect #1: Male, Hispanic, black hair, brown eyes, 5'10, 170 pounds, 20-25 years, light colored clothing.

Suspect #2: Male, Hispanic, black hair, black eyes, 5'5, 180 pounds, 20-25 years, light colored shirt, dark pants.

Suspect #3: Male, Hispanic, light brown hair, green eyes, 5'10, 165 pounds, 20 years, light shirt, dark pants.

Suspect #4: Male, Hispanic, black hair, brown eyes, 5'10, 180 pounds, 20-25 years, light colored shirt, and dark pants.
