Wilshire Detectives Arrest Suspects After Serving Search Warrants

LAPD Detectives assigned to the Korean Crimes Investigation Section, served two arrest warrants for Robbery and Assault with a Deadly Weapon. The two male suspects were arrested at their respective residence without incident.
Criminal charges of Robbery/ADW were filed against 18 year old Peter Cha by Deputy District Attorney Cynthia Nakao, assigned to the Hardcore Section of the District Attorney's Office, and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Suspect Cha is scheduled for arraignment in Division 30 at the Criminal Court Building on March 18, 1999.
Charges of Robbery/ADW were filed against the second 18 year old suspect, who was 17 years of age when the crimes were committed, by Deputy District Attorney Phyllis Asayama. A Warrant for his arrest was issued by East Lake Juvenile Court Judge Kwon. The second suspect's name is being withheld while under the jurisdiction of the Juvenile Court. He is currently awaiting an arraignment hearing at East Lake Juvenile Hall.
