"Suspect Holds Up McDonald's Restaurant and Flees With Cash"

San Pedro - On Monday, March 13, 2000, at 12:10 a.m., a Robbery occurred at the Mc Donald's restaurant located in the 300 block of S. Gaffey Street, in the city of San Pedro. The suspect gained access into the business by climbing on the roof and proceeded to cut a hole through the roof that lead into the women's restroom. The suspect, who was armed with an unknown blue steel handgun, directed the shift manager to open the safe. The suspect removed unknown amount in U.S currency and fled the restaurant. There was no injuries sustained in this incident.

The suspect is described as a Male, White, unknown hair color, blue eyes, 5'7", 160lbs, 22 years of age, wearing a blk shirt, brown WWII field jacket, black shoes, black pants, black gloves, carrying a green backpack.
