LAPD Seeks Public's Help in Identifying Outstanding Murder Suspect

Monday, March 6, 2000


Los Angeles - On December 2, 1999, West Los Angeles patrol officers responded to 3114 S. Canfield Avenue #6, for a welfare check. The tenant, Ahmed Alhubeishi, failed to report for work at the Airport Marriot Hotel. His co-workers became concerned and notified the police of his absence.

WLA patrol officers entered Alhubeishi's residence and discovered his lifeless body. Alhubeishi had been brutally beaten and stabbed to death. The motive for the murder remains unknown.

Los Angeles City Council member Michael Feuer, is offering a $25,000.00 reward for any information leading to the arrest, and prosecution of the murder suspect.
