DUI Enforcement/Sobriety Checkpoint

"DUI ENFORCEMENT/SOBRIETY CHECKPOINT"

 

Los Angeles - On Friday, March 16, 2001, the Los Angeles Police Department's West Traffic Division will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint on Pico Boulevard at Beverly Glen Boulevard in the West Los Angeles area. The checkpoint will be operational between the hours of 9:30 PM, and 1:30 AM. The purpose of the sobriety checkpoint is to reduce the amount of traffic collisions involving the intoxicated driver through enforcement and public awareness. Officers from West Traffic Division and West Los Angeles Community Police Station will staff the operation.
