Battle Between Two Law Enforcement Football Teams to Benefit Blind Children Charities

When:
March 24, 2001, 2:00 p.m.

Where:
Serra High School, 14830 Van Ness Boulevard, Gardena, California

Who:
Los Angeles Police Department Centurions and Orange County Sheriff's Lawmen.

Why:
Proceeds from the football game will benefit local blind children charities

Los Angeles - On Saturday, March 24, 2001, at 2:00 PM , the Los Angeles Police Department's football team, the "Centurions," will be playing against the Orange County Sheriff's team, the "Lawmen." Proceeds from today's game will go to benefit some of our community's blind children charities. The game will be held at Serra High School located at  9914 South Broadway in the city of Gardena.

Chief Bernard C. Parks will be on hand to enjoy the game.
