"Home Invasion Robbery Results
In Loss Of Money And Jewelry"

Los Angeles - On Friday, March 23, 2001, at 9:30 p.m., Wilshire Patrol Officers responded to a "211 Home Invasion Just Occurred" radio call to the 300 block of North Highland Avenue. A witness, an employee of the owner of the residence, told officers that she was awakened by a masked gunman. The gunman ordered her to show him where valuables were located in the house.

During a search of the house, several other suspects, joined in and different rooms within the home were searched. The suspects located a safe which contained an undetermined amount of cash and jewelry which they took with them when they left the location.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to notify Wilshire Robbery Investigators at 213-473-0414 / 0444, or after hours, 213-485-4022. No suspect or weapon information is available at this time.
