Los Angeles: On Saturday, February 23, 2002, at approximately 1:00 a.m., Kerry Lynn Kelly, a fifty nine year-old resident of Los Angeles was walking in the roadway along Vincent Avenue, just south of Colorado Boulevard, when she was hit by an unknown vehicle.
The unidentified driver fled the scene of the collision without identifying themselves or rendering aid to the victim. Kelly was later transported to Huntington Memorial Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
Central Traffic Division Detectives, and the family of Kerry Lynn Kelly, will be holding the press conference to request the public’s assistance to locate the hit and run driver who struck Kelly and left her severely injured in the street. A photograph of victim Kelly will be available to the media.
