Man Found Dead in Alley


 

Los Angeles: Harbor Area Detectives are investigating the death of an unidentified Male Black in his 30’s. On Tuesday, March 19, 2002 at approximately 8:25 p.m., a passerby found the victim’s body bludgeoned and lying in an alley west of Central Ave. and North of 76th street. The passerby then called for the police.

The victim’s name is being withheld pending identification and notification of his next of kin.

At this time there is no suspect, weapons, or motive information.

The Los Angeles Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in finding the individual(s) responsible for this incident. Anyone with information regarding this crime should contact Harbor Area Homicide Detective J. Goodman or P. Chavez at 310-548-2835 during business hours.
