"Shooting Victim Dies in Hospital After Two Days"

Los Angeles: On Wednesday, March 20, 2002, at approximately 7:20 p.m., a witness observed the victim, later identified as Oscar Pascual, speaking to an unknown male in the east driveway area of 1925 West Washington Boulevard. A few minutes later, the witness heard the sound of gunshots coming from the area where he last observed the victim and the unknown male conversing. The witness walked to the driveway and found the victim bleeding from the head and laying on the ground. Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to the location and transported Pascual to a local hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.

On Friday, March 22, 2002, at approximately 1:30 p.m., detectives were notified that the victim had succumbed to his injuries.

At this time there is no additional information regarding the shooting.
