"Two Burned Bodies Found at SUV Fire"

 

Los Angeles: On Friday, March 29, 2002, at approximately 11:45 pm, Harbor patrol officers responded to a radio call to the site of a possible murder at a vacant lot in the 300 block of North Fries Avenue.

Upon arrival the officers observed the bodies of two burned male victims lying on the ground next to a burned SUV.

Harbor Area Homicide detectives were notified and assumed responsibility for the investigation.

The Los Angeles County Coroner's Officer will conduct the forensic investigation to determine the cause of death and the identity of the victims. There is no further description of the victims.

The motive for the homicides is unknown at this time.
