Double Homicide Investigation

 

Los Angeles: On Monday, March 17, 2003, at approximately 12:30 p.m., two male Black victims were driving in a vehicle northbound on Wall Street approaching 88th Place. At least two male Black suspects were driving southbound on Wall Street, slowed down their vehicle, and began shooting into the victims’ vehicle.

Both victims were struck multiple times and died at the scene. The suspects fled in a white four door compact vehicle.

The motive for this shooting is gang-related.

The victims’ names are being withheld until their families have been notified. Both victims are in there mid twenties.

A two year-old boy, who was playing in the front yard of a residence near by, was struck by a stray bullet in his back. Fortunately, the boy received a superficial wound only and was treated and released.
