39 Year-Old Dies from Gunshot Wounds

 

Los Angeles: 77th Street Area Homicide Detectives are investigating the shooting incident that led to the death of 39 year-old Craig Coleman that occurred on Wednesday, March 19, 2003, at approximately 2:15 a.m.

The victim was standing in the front yard of 6400 block South Victoria Avenue when an unknown suspect fired numerous rounds. The suspect fled the location after the shooting. The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to Martin Luther King Jr. Medical center in critical condition.

The victim failed to respond to the treatment and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The motive is unknown. The suspect and weapon remain outstanding.
