Los Angeles: Beginning at 12:00 p.m., today the following streets will be closed to pedestrian and vehicular traffic due to events associated with the 75^th Academy Awards:

• Hollywood Boulevard from La Brea Avenue to Cahuenga Boulevard;
• Wilcox Avenue from Franklin Avenue to Sunset Boulevard;
• Highland Avenue from Franklin Avenue to Sunset Boulevard (Both northbound and southbound traffic.) Northbound traffic will be further restricted from Santa Monica Boulevard to Sunset Boulevard;
• Hawthorn Avenue from Orange Avenue to Mc Cadden Place;
• Yucca Avenue from Highland Avenue to Las Palmas Avenue;
• Orange Drive from Hollywood Boulevard to De Longpre Avenue.

In an effort to assist the media in their ability to cover the protest, the Los Angeles Police Department has designated the Southwest corner of Orange Avenue and Sunset Boulevard as a Media Area.
