Multi-Three Shooting Leaves One Dead; Two Injured

Los Angeles: Foothill Homicide Detectives are investigating a shooting incident that left 18 year-old Victor Palacios dead and two others wounded.

On March 23, 2003, at approximately 2:09 a.m., Foothill Area patrol officers responded to an "Ambulance ADW Shots Fired" radio call in the 12800 block of Filmore Street. Upon arrival, the officers discovered two male Hispanics being treated by Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics.

The preliminary investigation revealed the suspect(s) walked up to the area of Borden Avenue and Filmore Street and fired into a group of people gathered in front of the location, striking the victims. During the course of the investigation, it was discovered that the third shooting victim had been transported to a local hospital by a third party.
