"Chief Bratton to Attend Multi-Agency Homeland Security Forum"

Homeland Security/Forensic Service Public Forum

When:
Thursday, March 27, 2003, 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Where:
Los Angeles City Hall, Council Chambers, Room 340, 200 North Spring Street, Los Angeles

Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Chief William J. Bratton will be attending a multi-agency public forum sponsored by the Los Angeles Regional Crime Lab, Joint Powers Authority and the California Forensic Science Institute. The subject will be homeland security and local forensic services in the event of terrorist incidents. Los Angeles Sheriff Leroy Baca and Los Angeles Police Commissioner Rose Ochi will also participate in the forum.

The involved representatives will be involved in a "table top exercise" aimed at heightening awareness about chemical and biological agent and identification and collecting of evidence.
