Detectives Investigate Shooting Death

 

Los Angeles: 77th Street Homicide Detectives are investigating a shooting that led to the death of one man.

On Sunday night, March 30, 2003, at approximately 9:05 p.m., the victim, Isaiah Cain, 26 years old, was seated in his green Lincoln Navigator at the intersection of Crenshaw Boulevard and Slauson Avenue, when he was shot by unknown suspect(s).

There were two other passengers in the victim’s vehicle; a 23 year-old male and a 6 year-old girl, both of whom escaped injuries.

The victim was transported by a Los Angeles Fire Department Rescue Unit to Cedar Sinai Hospital Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.

The motive is unknown at this time. The suspect(s) and weapon(s) remain outstanding.
