18 Year-Old Dies from Gang-Related Shooting

 

Los Angeles: On Sunday, March 30, 2003, at approximately 7:35 p.m., Van Nuys Area patrol officers responded to a shooting call in the 14800 block of Roscoe Boulevard. Upon arrival at the location, the officers found the victim, Salvador Celis, a male Hispanic, 18 year-old resident of Canoga Park, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso.

Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded and pronounced Celis dead at the location.

The motive for the shooting at this time appears to be gang-related. To date, no witnesses to this crime have been located.
