"I feel privileged to work with some of the most innovative leaders in policing," said Chief Bratton. "PERF has always exemplified progressive policing and demonstrated a commitment to advancing how we serve all communities. I was honored to serve as PERF President from 1993 to 1996 when I was the Commissioner of the NYPD and look forward to working with its members and Board to again move forward the organization’s work."
"I have known Chief Bratton for more than 25 years, since our work together in the Boston Police Department," said PERF Executive Director Chuck Wexler.
