Los Angles: March 10, 2004, at approximately 5:55 p.m., Los Angeles Police Officers assigned to West Traffic Area officers responded to a solo fatal traffic collision that occurred on Culver Boulevard, east of Nicholson Avenue in the Playa Vista.

Gail Pascual Aguilar and resident of Marina Del Rey, was driving her 2002 Mercedes Benz C320 station wagon eastbound on Culver Boulevard. Witnesses said they saw Ms. Aguilar’s vehicle veer off the roadway, colliding with a pole and several trees.

Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded to the scene and began treatment for her injuries. Ms. Aguilar’s injuries were so severe that she was pronounced dead at the scene.
