"Community Safety Operations Task Force"

 

WHAT: Community Safety Operations Task Force

WHEN: Thursday, March 18, 2004, at 11:00 a.m.

WHERE: Hollenbeck Community Police Station, 2111 East First Street, Los Angeles

WHO: Mayor James K. Hahn, Councilwoman Jan Perry, 9th District, Councilman Antonio Villaraigosa, 14th District, Commissioner David S. Cunningham, Chief William J. Bratton, Assistant Chief George Gascon

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) will announce the start of the Community Safety Operations Task Force (CSOTF) for 2004. The mission of CSOTF is to reduce violent "gang" crime in Operations-Central and South Bureaus, through community support. In addition, CSOTF will augment current Gang Impact Team initiatives through the redeployment of existing LAPD resources.
