Shooting Leaves One Dead, One Injured

 

Los Angeles: On Friday March 26, 2004, at approximately 10:45 p.m., 16 year old Fidel Tizcareno and a fried were walking through a parking lot at Venice Boulevard and Redondo Boulevard. A dark SUV pulled next to the curb and a person inside the vehicle began firing multiple rounds from a handgun toward the victims. Tizcareno and his friend were struck in the upper body. The dark SUV then drove westbound on Venice Boulevard. Both victims were transported to a local hospital where Tizcareno died from his injuries. His friend is expected to recover from his wounds.

Wilshire Homicide Detectives responded to the location to conduct the investigation. No arrests have been made and the suspects are described only as male Blacks. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call Homicide Detectives at 213-473-0444.
