Two Suspects Arrested for Murder

 

Los Angeles: Wilshire Area Homicide Detectives are investigating the murder of 28 year-old Elmer Vasquez, a resident of Los Angeles.

On Monday, March 29, 2004, at about 4:00 a.m., Wilshire Area patrol officers responded to a radio call of a fight in the driveway of 2765 James M. Wood street. The officers arrived at the scene immediately and discovered the victim lying in the driveway, suffering from stab wounds to his chest. Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

The officers detained several individuals for investigation. Upon completing the investigation, the officers arrested 37 year-old Jaime Paz and 20 year-old Eddy Zuniga for murder.

The motive is possibly gang related.
