Jackson, Commanding Officer Southwest Area, Police Commissioner President David Cunningham III, Reverend Dr. Eugene Marzette, Sr., Councilmember's Martin C. Ludlow, Bernard Parks, JanPerry, Antonio Villaraigosa, Representatives for Senator Barbara Boxer, Minister Tony Muhammad (Supporters: State Assembly member Karen Bass 48 th District, Supervisor Yvonne Braithwaite-Burke)

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department, Southwest Community Police Station and the Southwest Area Clergy-Police Council are sponsoring a Walk for Life and Peace community mobilization event on March 15, 2005, St. Agatha Church at 2610 South Mansfield Avenue, Los Angeles, California. The press conference will begin promptly at 5:30 P.M.

The walk is to raise awareness of criminal activity and violence in the neighborhoods.

It is anticipated that over 2,000 residents will participate in addition to the organizers.
