Drunk Driving Prevention Campaign

What:
News conference to promote drunk driving prevention and to honor the memory of Mr. Patrick Flanders II who died at the hands of an intoxicated driver.

Captain Ronald Marbrey, C.O., Valley Traffic Division, Detective William Bustos, Officer-in-Charge, Valley Traffic Division Detectives

Los Angeles: Every thirty minutes someone in America dies due to a collision with an impaired driver and every two minutes someone is injured by someone driving intoxicated.

In the year 2004, Los Angeles Police Officers made 13,795 DUI arrests. During this same period there were 2,219 DUI related collisions.
