Body Snatcher Sought

News conference to ask for the public's assistance in retrieving a stolen preserved Fetus.

Los Angeles: On March 26, 2005 at 2:30 a.m., an exhibit of Body Worlds was stolen from the California Science Center.

The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the theft of a plastinated specimen. The 13-week old fetus, acquired from an old anatomical collection was taken from Gunther von Hagen's Body Worlds 2: The Anatomical Exhibition of Real Human Bodies at the California Science Center.

A surveillance video captured images of two suspects and the LAPD is asking the public's help in identifying the pair.
