Hollenback Station Closes Its Doors

Closing of Hollenback Station

When:
Friday, April 7th , 2006
10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Flag Lowering Ceremony 12:00 p.m.

Why:
Hollenback Community Police Station was built at the corner of St. Louis Street and First Street and opened its doors to serve the East Los Angeles community in 1964. After 42 years of service it will sadly close its doors. The police station will be demolished to make room for a new and improve state of the art police station. The officers and its staff will be housed temporarily at 1936 E. First Street. The public is invited to attend this historical event.
