Man Found Shot to Death

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the murder of 38-year old, Frank Cordova.

On Sunday, October 8, 2006, shortly before 6:00 p.m., officers responded to the 3100 block of Chapman Street in the Glassell Park Community. Upon the officers arrival they found victim Cordova suffering from multiple gun shot wounds to his upper body.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to the location to provide medical aid. Cordova was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Police have no suspect leads. The crime is believed to be gang related.
