Mentally Disabled Woman Missing

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a mentally disabled woman who is in need of medications for various medical conditions.

On Saturday, March 8, 2008, at around 11:45 a.m., 50-year old, Mary Lee walked away from the Lifehouse Care Center located at 12831 Maclay Street in Sylmar. Mrs. Lee is described as a female, Black, with black hair; brown eyes, stands 5'4" and weighs about 170 pounds. She was last seen wearing a red jacket, yellow pants and a black beanie cap.

Mission Area officers have conducted follow-up investigations to her residence, local hospitals and local area parks and have been unsuccessful in finding her.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Mrs. Lee is asked to call the Mission Area Watch Commander at 818-838-9800. On weekends and during off-hours, call the 24-hour toll free number at 1-877-LAWFULL (529-3855).
