44-Year-Old-Female Missing NR10132ne

(Update)
Around 9 o’clock this morning, investigators located Juanita Moreno at a local hospital.  She was in good condition.  Her family has been notified and she will be reunited with them.

Los Angeles:
The Los Angeles Police Department requests the public’s assistance in locating 44-year-old Juanita Moreno.

Moreno was last seen on March 15, 2010, at around 5 p.m., near her residence in the 300 block of North Avenue 50, in the Northeast Area of Los Angeles.  Since then, she has not been seen or has made any contact with her family and they are concerned for her safety.  Moreno only speaks Spanish and has the mental capacity of a 10 year old.  She also suffers from seizures and has a burn scar on her left arm.

Moreno is described as a Hispanic female with black hair and brown eyes.  She stands 4 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds.  She was wearing a pink sweater, beige shorts and black shoes.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Moreno is urged to contact LAPD Missing Persons Unit at 213-996-1800.  During non-business hours or on weekends, calls should be directed to 1-877-LAPD-24-7.  Anyone wishing to remain anonymous should call Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (800-222-8477).  Tipsters may also contact Crimestoppers by texting to phone number 274637 (C-R-I-M-E-S on most keypads) with a cell phone. All text messages should begin with the letters “LAPD.”  Tipsters may also go to LAPDOnline.org, click on "webtips" and follow the prompts.
