Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and the family of Esmeralda Janette Gutierrez are asking for the public’s help to find her.
Today, at about 7:30 a.m., Gutierrez was last seen by her family in the 800 block of West 51st Street in LAPD’s 77th area. Gutierrez has not been seen or heard since and her family is extremely concerned for her well-being. Gutierrez speaks Spanish only.
Gutierrez is a female Hispanic with black hair and brown eyes. She stands about five feet and one inch tall and weighs about 115 pounds. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, black shirt, blue jacket and white shoes.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Gutierrez is asked to call LAPD Missing Persons Unit Detective Carlton at 213-996-1800. During non-business hours or on weekends, calls should be directed to 1-877-LAPD-24-7. Anyone wishing to remain anonymous should call Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (800-222-8477).
