Los Angeles:  LAPD Wilshire detectives are investigating a string of robberies that occurred within a one-hour period through the areas of Wilshire, Pacific and West Los Angeles.  All three robberies occurred at local fast food restaurants.

On March, 11, 2012, around 7:30 p.m., the suspect entered a fast food restaurant in the 1900 block of South Crenshaw Boulevard and presented a note to the store cashier demanding money.  On the note the suspect indicated he had a gun.  The suspect took money from the cash register and left the location with the note.

Later in the evening, around 8:15 p.m., the suspect entered a fast food restaurant in the 3100 block of South Sepulveda Boulevard, Pacific area and presented a note to the store cashier.  The suspect indicated that he had a gun and took the money from the cash register and left the location.  Thirty-five minutes later, he entered another fast food restaurant in the 11000 block of West Pico Boulevard, West Los Angeles area and took money from the cashier.

The suspect did not appear to be armed, but made verbal threats to intimidate an employee in one incident.

The suspect is described as being a male White or a light skinned Hispanic, stands between 5 feet 4 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs between 140-160 pounds.  The suspect wore a black hooded sweat shirt with a white design.  In all three robberies the suspect wore dark colored gloves.
