Man Arrested for Murder of Missing Woman NR12125mjf

Los Angeles:  On March 15, 2012, 72-year-old Los Angeles resident George Larry Hill was arrested and booked by detectives from Robbery-Homicide Division for the murder of Channa “China” Kincade.

The victim, a 41-year-old female Black, was reported missing on April 5, 2009, by her family.  At the time of her disappearance, Kincade was involved in a relationship with Hill, at the time, a 69-year-old male. Detectives conducted numerous interviews of Kincade’s family and friends during the investigation, leading them to believe that she was the victim of foul play.

Blood evidence gathered during the investigation by LAPD’s Missing Persons Unit and Robbery-Homicide Division revealed Kincade was murdered and her body disposed of.  The investigation concluded that Hill was a suspect in this crime.

On March 15, 2012, Hill, the primary suspect in the investigation was arrested and booked by detectives from Robbery-Homicide Division for the murder of Channa Kincade and is currently being held on $1 million bail.

To date, Kincade’s body has not been discovered, and detectives have not uncovered the motive for the crime.
