19-Year-Old Missing Woman NR12130gb

UPDATE
March 22, 2012

According to investigators, Crystal Reyes has been located and she is fine.

Los Angeles:

The family of Crystal Reyes and the Los Angeles Police Department are asking for the public’s help to locate Reyes.

On Tuesday, March 13, 2012, around 9:30 a.m., Reyes was last seen at the Metropolitan Skills Center in the 2800 block of West 6th Street, in the Rampart Area of Los Angeles.  Reyes left the school and never returned home and has not been seen or heard from since.  Reyes has been missing for seven days; her family is extremely concerned for her welfare because of her medical condition.

Reyes is described as a 19-year-old female Hispanic with shoulder length red hair, brown eyes. She stands about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 165 pounds.  Reyes was last seen wearing a pink/orange sweater, a T-shirt with an unknown logo on it, and blue jeans.  Reyes was also carrying a pastel, floral print backpack.  She also has a moon-shaped birth mark on her abdomen, and a pierced bottom lip hole.

Anyone with information on Reyes’s whereabouts is asked to contact the LAPD Missing Persons Unit at 213-996-1800.  During non-business hours or on weekends, calls should be directed to 1-877-LAPD-24-7 (877-527-3247).  Anyone wishing to remain anonymous should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (800-222-8477). Tipsters may also contact Crime Stoppers by texting to phone number 274637 (C-R-I-M-E-S on most keypads) with a cell phone.  All text messages should begin with the letters “LAPD.”  Tipsters may also go to LAPDOnline.org, click on "webtips" and follow the prompts.
