Los Angeles: On March 3, 2013, at 6:30 PM, a fatal traffic collision occurred on Vine Street at Banner Avenue, resulting in the death of a local resident.

A 26-year-old female resident of Los Angeles parked her 2009 BMW 328i southbound on Vine Street along the curb at Banner Avenue. She opened the driver’s door of the vehicle to get out. At the same time, a 49-year-old male resident of Los Angeles was riding his bicycle southbound on Vine Street in the bicycle lane and collided with the motorist’s door.
