Suspect Enters Open Door and Rapes Victim

LOS ANGELES POLICE DEPARTMENT

Friday, May 21, 1999

On Thursday, May 20, 1999, at approximately 10:00 P.M., a rape occurred at a residence located in the 2900 block of Veteran Avenue in Pacific Division.

The suspect entered the location through an open door while the victim was awake in her bedroom. The suspect had a metal object in his hand and demanded the victim's money and jewelry. After ransacking the residence he sexually assaulted the victim.

The suspect is described as a male Black, brown hair, brown eyes, 6'0" to 6'2" tall, 170-180 pounds, and in his early 20's. The suspect was wearing a dark shirt, gray pants and tennis shoes. The suspect has a light complexion.
