Wilshire Shooting

LOS ANGELES POLICE DEPARTMENT
PRESS RELEASE
Tuesday, May 25, 1999

On May 23th, 1999, at approximately 11:35 p.m., an 18-year-old male Hispanic was shot while walking in the 1200 block of Dewey Avenue.

The suspects and motive for the shooting are unknown. The weapon is outstanding.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Wilshire Homicide Detectives are handling the investigation. They are requesting assistance from anyone with any information concerning the crime or suspects. They can be reached by calling 213-473-0444.
