Suspect Arrested After Making Anthrax Threat

" Suspect Arrested for Making Anthrax Threats"

West Los Angeles - On Thursday, May 25, 2000, Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department, Detective Support Division (DSD), Criminal Conspiracy Section (CCS), became aware of an Anthrax threat at the KMEX Television Studios and Offices at 6701 Center Drive. The joint investigation conducted by detectives from CCS and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) resulted in the arrest of a KMEX employee for making Terrorist Threats against the company. The employee was transported and booked for Terrorist Threats at the LAPD Pacific Area Jail. Detectives from CCS and the FBI are continuing in the joint investigation.

The Arrestee is identified as Ivan Ceja, a 36-year-old, male Hispanic.
