Fatal Hit and Run Traffic Collision

San Fernando Valley: On April 21, 2001, at approximately 8:30 p.m., a traffic collision occurred in front of 14209 Vanowen Street. A vehicle driving north on Vanowen Street swerved to the right hitting the victim, who was entering his parked vehicle. The driver of the vehicle did not stop to render aid or identify him/herself. The victim, identified as Horacio Reyes, a male Hispanic, was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on April 28, 2001.

The investigation revealed that two possible vehicles were involved in this collision. The first vehicle was described as a Pick-up, full size, extended cab, black in color. The second vehicle was described as a white sedan.. There is no further information available at this time.
