Survivors Against Violence Everywhere

LAPD, Walk for Peace

Sunday, June 3, 2001, at 10:00 AM

Where:
Start Line: Hollenbeck Park (Boathouse Area) 415 South Saint Louis Street, Los Angeles

Finish Line: Hollenbeck Community Police Station, 2111 East 1st Street, Los Angeles

Who:
The Los Angeles Police Department, along with Ms. Christine Hester, mother of fallen LAPD Police Officer Steve Gajda

Hollenbeck - The public is invited to participate in this 1.3 mile walk dedicated to the cause of peace and tranquility on the streets of Los Angeles. There will be an Open House immediately following the walk at Hollenbeck Community Police Station. The Open House will feature a barbeque luncheon, displays of LAPD Specialized Units, recruitment booth, and much more.
