Los Angeles: On Saturday, February 16, 2002, at approximately 5:36 p.m., 25 year-old Robert Guillory of Los Angeles was gunned down while he sat in his vehicle which was stopped for a red light signal at Stocker Street and Crenshaw Boulevard. An innocent victim of gang violence, Guillory graduated from both Dorsey High School and San Jose State University. Employed as a production assistant with Walt Disney studios, Guillory remained living in the area of his youth and was beginning a career in the entertainment business when he was killed. However, the case has not been idle, as LAPD Southwest Area Homicide Detectives have arrested one suspect who has been charged with the murder of Guillory. Another suspect, Jason Ferrill, has been identified and a Felony Warrant for Murder has been issued for his arrest. Detectives are requesting the public's help with locating Ferrill, which will subsequently result in his apprehension for this brutal crime. At the scheduled press conference, detectives will be providing a photo of the suspects and victim.
