Interfaith prayer service in culmination of National Police Memorial Week (May 15 through 21, 2005)

Saint Michael's Catholic Church,
1016 West Manchester Avenue, Los Angeles

Who:
Sponsored by Police Chief William J. Bratton's Religious Community Forum. The forum is made up of representatives and leaders of LA's many faith communities.

Attended by Chief of Police William J. Bratton, LAPD Command and Staff officers, Senior Lead Officers, Police-Clergy Council members, and all LAPD employees and their families.

Why:
This will be the sixth annual Interfaith Day of Prayer in Los Angeles, held to honor the commitment and sacrifice of the men and women of the Los Angeles Police Department.
