21 Year-Old Shot and Killed

 

Los Angeles: Wilshire Area detectives are investigating the shooting death of a 21 year-old man that occurred yesterday afternoon.

Sunday, May 8, 2005 at about 4:40 p.m., Leon Felipe, a male Hispanic and resident of Los Angeles, was shot and killed in the 1800 block of Longwood Street. Felipe was shot several times in the upper torso with an unknown caliber handgun.

The suspect, only described as a male Hispanic, wearing a white shirt and possibly with a shaved head, was last seen running northbound from the crime scene.

The motive for this crime is unknown.

No suspects have been arrested at this time.
