Los Angeles: On May 4, 2005, at about 10:20 p.m., 61-year-old Lucy Castro was walking across York Boulevard at Hazelwood Avenue when a gray Nissan Sentra driven by a 45 year-old man struck her.

The victim suffered blunt-force injuries to her head and body and was taken a local hospital. On May 5, 2005, at about 10:47 a.m., the victim died of her injuries.
